If you like really quirky humor, you gotta check out abbie the cat. Here’s an excerpt that almost made me choke on my tongue it struck me so funny. Keep in mind: it’s written by a cat.

Very funny. My Mom volunteers at the cat shelter as a cat petter. I’m sure they have a better name for what she does/is, but basically she goes and brushes and pets the cats awaiting adoption or death row. I’m sure she will appreciate hearing from a cat that has learned to type, albeit very poorly.

I never knew there was such a job… Your mom is Saint Mom of Astoria (Astoria, right?).
Actually, I had a feeling Lorraine would love this entry more than anyone, as she was always telling me little jokes like this in junior high. Well, and highschool. So it makes sense you would like it, too. Birds of a feath, so they say…

Hey dodda,I just checked in before my next meeting and saw the color combinations. I love the outline in green and the headings are great with another color, too.
Have you considered having a picture of an old brick well (with the crank and the cover)? I know, stay out of it dennis. Just a thought. Whatever you do, I like the Kellywell at the top.

For the first time, I actually smile when I pull up my site. I love the colors, and the new logo. Steve (and Lorraine) did everything. I’m so glad. It’s a wonder I can get dressed in the mornings without embarrassing myself. Wait. Maybe I do, but just don’t know it.
I don’t want to know.
After the dust settles, I might ask Steve about adding a well picture; that’s a good idea. And with the new colors, I actually agree with you: the picture I’m currently using of myself doesn’t look very welcoming. I might look into using another one…
It’s coming together! Whew! xo
